Here’s one a friend of mine would certainly love to wish back.
We were coming home from a round of golf when I suddenly said, “Hey, I’ve got to stop at the grocery store and buy some flowers!”
“Why?” he asked.
“Because I just realized it’s my anniversary!”
And that’s when he said it.
“Why in the world would anybody get married on a Wednesday?”
